Tool assessment & selection

Choose the right tool, for the right reasons

Not the tool with the best sales team, or the one your last consultant happened to be certified in. We run a structured, vendor-neutral evaluation scored against your actual requirements, then implement whichever platform wins.

Tool assessments

Choose your tool assessment

Each tool assessment is a 50 question online review of how well a platform supports your processes. It returns an instant score out of 5, a breakdown across six capability areas and tailored recommendations. If you are still choosing between platforms, the consulting-led selection further down scores every candidate on the same six criteria.

What we watch for

Common selection mistakes we help you avoid

Buying for year one, not year three

A tool that fits today's headcount can become a bottleneck at twice the scale, licensing and architecture both matter.

Letting the demo do the deciding

Polished demos rarely reflect real configuration effort, we score based on your actual process requirements, not vendor scripts.

Ignoring total cost of ownership

License cost is one line item, implementation, integration, and ongoing admin overhead are usually the bigger number.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a tool assessment and a tool selection?

A tool assessment is a self-service online review of how well your current platform works for you. A tool selection is a consulting-led evaluation in which we score candidate platforms against your requirements and then implement the one that wins.

Is this a comparison of vendors?

No. It assesses how well your current setup works for you. It is independent of any vendor.
